Gas usage data collection agreement
At Aquarevo, South East Water proposes to collect your gas usage data within your home and to display it to you within this mySouthEastWater online account management site.
By providing your consent, you agree to the below:
- You appoint South East Water as the agent to directly or remotely access your gas usage data via meters which we will purchase and have installed, in accordance with the Gas Distribution System Code (Victoria), as amended;
- The purpose of this data collection by South East Water is to provide you with gas usage information at your premises, where such consent is required under any law, including the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) as amended;
- You acknowledge that South East Water will provide the gas usage information at your premises to the gas supplier for the purpose of assisting with the future planning of gas supply in residential situations;
- You acknowledge that the information submitted may be shared with third parties in line with our Privacy Charter;
- You acknowledge that the gas data is for usage comparison purposes only and is not representative of, or intended for, billing purposes of any nature.
